Before & after your session.
Before your session
- Shave the area the day before. Hair must be short but visible
- No waxing or plucking. The follicle must be intact for the laser to work
- Avoid sun exposure for 4 to 6 weeks beforehand and use SPF daily
- No tanning (sunbed or spray) in the weeks leading up to treatment
Between sessions you can shave or use hair removal cream. Just do not pluck or wax. It is normal for hair to grow back in patches as treatment progresses.
After your session
- Some redness or minor swelling around follicles is normal and fades quickly
- A soothing cream or thermal water spray may be applied straight after
- No scrubbing needed. The treated hairs will shed on their own
- No downtime. Return to normal activities immediately
- Continue with SPF and sun protection in the weeks following treatment
On average, 8 to 12 sessions achieve 80% or more permanent reduction. Sessions are spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. Your therapist will review and adjust your plan at every visit. Prices reduce as the treated area reduces.

Does it work on all skin tones and hair types?
Our laser is suitable for all skin tones including tanned skin, and most hair types. The exception is very light hair (blonde, grey, red) which lacks the pigment the laser targets. For those hair types, we recommend Thermolysis. We will advise you at your free consultation.
How many sessions will I need?
On average, 8 to 12 sessions achieve more than 80% permanent reduction six months after the final treatment. The exact number depends on hair thickness, colour, growth cycle, and hormonal factors, all of which we will discuss at your consultation. Because hair grows in cycles, we can only treat what is visible at each session.
Does it hurt?
With the Soprano Ice, most people find it very comfortable, commonly described as a warm stone massage. Pain tolerance is subjective, but the IN-Motion technique means there is no single intense pulse. No numbing cream is needed, and if you have any concerns during treatment, just let your therapist know.
Is there any downtime?
None. You may have some redness or minor swelling around the follicles right after treatment. This is a normal response and fades quickly. Most clients go straight back to their day.
Can hair grow back after treatment?
Once a follicle is fully destroyed, it cannot regrow hair. A small number of follicles may be only partially treated in each session, which is why multiple sessions are needed. Hormonal changes over time can also stimulate new follicles, which may require a top-up treatment down the line.
